About the Project Team

The Greater New Haven Transit District (GNHTD) is a quasi-governmental agency which operates paratransit service in the greater New Haven Area. GNHTD has a proud track record of promoting green transit, beginning with the development and operation of a small fleet of electric trolley-replica vehicles in a free circulator service in downtown New Haven. HyRide reaffirms GNHTD’s commitment to promoting a cleaner environment through the use of green transit.
